Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, whose contract with the club expires at the end of the season, has been suggested by Roy Keane as a potential move to rivals Manchester United to save them from having to find a new home.

De Bruyne, 33, only revealed over the weekend that he was surprise not to have been offer a new deal by City executives, despite working together for a decade and doing great things together.

“That guy has been tied to the Premier League for a long time,” Shay Given said.

“Kevin knows he is not at his peak, but he still has a lot to offer. He could potentially play for another Premier League club, which would be a worry for City.”

This is when fellow pundit Keane interjects his comments.

“Manchester United is good? He won’t have to move to a new house!” the former Red Devils captain joked.

That made the other cast members almost fall out of their chairs laughing at this humor.

“If he thinks he’s good enough, he might consider playing in the Premier League for another season.”

De Bruyne has struggled with injuries, making just 24 appearances this season, but has only been a regular in the last four games as the team has picked up 10 of their 12 points.
