Manchester United have reportedly had a bid rejected for Cameroon winger Bryan Mbeumo after their first bid was made to Brentford.

Sky Sports reports that Manchester United failed to make their first offer to Brentford. Because the total price offered was still lower than the asking price for Mbeumo.สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่

Manchester United’s initial offer was reportedly worth £55m, with a £45m guarantee and a further £10m in add-ons. But it fell short of Brentford’s £60m asking price.

Manchester United are expected to make a second offer to Brentford, pushing the figure up to the target. But the key issue is how difficult or difficult the add-ons will be.

Personal terms are not expected to be a problem. As Mbeumo, who scored 20 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, is most keen on a move to Manchester United.

Manchester United have previously confirmed the signing of Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers. With a release clause set at £62.5m, and are expected to bring in Mbeumo for a similar fee.

There has since been a twist in the transfer saga. As Thomas Frank has left Brentford to become the new Tottenham Hotspur boss, and he wants Mbeumo to follow him to north London.
