Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed the reason why star defender Mickey van de Ven was left out of Sunday’s game against Brentford football.

   The Dutch defender made his first appearance of 2025 in Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League win over Elfsborg. After suffering a thigh injury in December and is expected to be in contention for the trip to the Bees สมัคร UFABET
    However, Postecoglou said Van de Ven is still recovering. And his recent absence was simply a matter of managing his time after the player’s injury.

    “We’re just trying to manage his time. Things change very quickly and after speaking to the doctors and Mickie. We’re going to give him a rest this weekend. Give him another week of training and hopefully he’ll be ready by the end of next week.”



    The Dutchman is not expect to be available for the Carabao Cup tie at Liverpool in midweek. Having already won the first leg 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, Spurs’ new signing Kevin Danso from Lens could make his Anfield debut after completing his move on Sunday.
